We took the playhouse apart to scrub clean, but the swinging door just would not budge,
so I had to paint it lime green to because I didn't want to deal with taping it off, etc, etc!
I used the Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastics {$3.49 per bottle at Home Depot}.
The painting took A LOT longer then expected.... primer, paint, then top coat. It also took a lot more spray paint then I had anticipated or read on the other blogs that posted their playhouse makeover:
and three trips to Home Depot.
The paint drys to touch in about 15-20 minutes, but you want to let the pieces dry for 7 days before you put the playhouse together to avoid chips in the paint.
Playhouse on Craigslist $20.00
14 bottles of spray paint $48.00

Total Cost $68.00
Granted I spent A LOT on spray paint, but $68 is way cheaper then the $250-$400 price tag
for a new Little Tikes Playhouse. I am sure that Bellamy, her future siblings, and their friends
will get many years of enjoyment out of the playhouse!!
